Chels drove me home last night.
Chels drove me home last night…..such a feeling mix - excited for her that she is growing into such an awesome young lady and desperately wishing she would jump on me like she was 2 again. Life is interesting, God is good.
I don't know how she does it
This movie got me, seriously. Crying by myself in the basement not because I was sad, happy, just because I saw me on the big screen. More in we lived in Cali than now but holy cow, that movie was made for me. Jeff came and sat next to me for a bit and to confirm my own thoughts said, “wow, I don’t need to watch this, I live it.” Loved it, the movie and him.
woke-up grateful
glad that our teens are at an awesome event, thankful that I went to sleep early enough to be able to function in the wee hours when E’s cold started bothering him, for a house to clean, for friends to be helped by and help, for a husband who worked all night, and for a God who always loves me.

long day…came home to packages and cards from wonderful people, can’t even tell you how much it meant. God knew….tearing up, definitely overtired. Thankful for big <3s.

such a great night, filled with friends…..feeling very loved and absolutely in the right place.
Yum.
We met some friends at one of our favorite places to eat. It is a family farm where they bake pizzas in a brick fire oven. The family encourages visitors to picnic in their lawn and explore their farm. The rain this morning was perfect for ensuring it wasn’t too crowded, the food was delicious, visuals were scrumptious, but the company topped off the experience.
